By downloading, installing, or using Tarry ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the App

Tarry is a travel tracking application that helps users monitor their international travel days for tax residency compliance and Schengen visa rule calculations. The App stores all data locally on your device.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, ARLOLABS SLU grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control.

4. Purchase and Payment

  • The App is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • All payments are processed by the respective platform (Apple or Google) and are subject to their terms and refund policies.
  • No subscription or recurring charges apply.

5. Important Disclaimer

The App is an informational tool only and does NOT provide legal, tax, or immigration advice.

  • Tax residency rules vary by country and are subject to change. The 183-day rule is a general guideline and may not apply in all jurisdictions.
  • Schengen calculations are based on the standard 90/180-day rule and may not account for all exceptions or bilateral agreements.
  • Always consult a qualified tax advisor or immigration lawyer for decisions regarding your tax residency or visa status.
  • ARLOLABS SLU is not responsible for any tax liabilities, fines, penalties, or legal consequences arising from reliance on the App's calculations.

6. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the trip data you enter.
  • You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. Since data is stored locally, uninstalling the App will delete all data.
  • You must not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

7. Data and Privacy

  • All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your data.

8. GPS and Location Services

  • The App offers optional GPS-based country detection. This feature is disabled by default and requires your explicit consent.
  • Background location access, when enabled, is used solely to detect country changes for automatic trip recording.
  • GPS coordinates are never stored; only the detected country name is saved.
  • You can disable location tracking at any time in the App settings or your device settings.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by ARLOLABS SLU and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
  • ARLOLABS SLU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to the App or other users.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
